Consulting with Islanders on Accessibility

Consulting with Islanders between July 2016 and February 2017, the Government of Canada asked Canadians for input on planned accessibility legislation.

The federal government is planning some new accessibility legislation, and is holding public consultations across the country to seek input from Canadians. The PEI consultation will take place at Murphy’s Community Centre in Charlottetown, from 4:30 to 7:00pm on December 8th. It’s a good time to remind the government that accessibility also means inclusion of those with intellectual disabilities.

Update: Consultations are now closed, visit here to read about what was learned from this consultation.
